THE PROJECT


So here it goes: I, Mary Schook intend to be conscious of all of the food that goes into my mouth and the sources of where they come from. My goal is to prohibit foods that are not raised "organically" or "cruelty-free".

I will do my best to document what I experience on my journey and hopefully at the end of the year I will be able to come up with the answer to the question: "Does the source of our food affect us?"

Without the help of the farmer's market in Union Square in New York City and a very reasonably priced restaurant, Organique I'm not sure I could maintain this goal.

My spending allowance is approx $5-7.00 per meal since I am keeping a tight budget.
