HAVE YOU HAD YOUR BREAK TODAY?

I have NEVER been a fast food fan or foodie, but sometimes when you're on long road trips and want to save time there always seems to be a trusty Mc Donald's or Taco Bell along the way.
The chicken wrap and coffee is what I will usually order at Mc D's and the chicken quesadilla is what I will have from Taco Bell, but after watching this VIDEO a while back it made me almost want to avoid ANYTHING from a fast food restaurant. The only reason I am thinking about this right now is because I was just reminded of the gradeschool reunion I will be going to in February. I will be doing several hours of driving on the road and will have to do a lot of planning ahead of time to make sure I don't starve from lack of organic along the way.

So what do you think of the VIDEO? Makes you sort of think huh?

I guess you get what you pay for, huh? Fortunately, my family is vegetarian and I simply don't trust any fast food restaurant to serve completely meatless food (esp. after the whole french fry thing with McD). This just reaffirms my choice and beliefs!

Mary, I have been eating organic and vegetarian since college. I have also driven the road to KY from NY and PA many, many times. I have my pit stops mapped according to grocery stores. It takes a little longer but I end up feeling a lot better for it.

The best place to take a pit stop is a Panera Bread. There is an app for that! Sincerely, there is an app for finding Organic/Fresh Foods on my iPhone.

I also have a Once-Skinny-Who-Went-Organic friend who made fun of me until she made the change. She lost like 50 lbs in a short time with no other diet constraint than eat organic/ fresh foods.

I can't lose anymore weight because I am already organic, that and I am pregnant.

Keep at it
